Podcast Episode 2: Credentials, what do they mean?

In : Uncategorized, Posted by Laura Blankenship on Jan.01, 2009

In this episode, I talk with Randy Thornton (University of Puget Sound), Jim Groom (University of Mary Washington), and Barbara Ganley (Center for Digital Expression) about whether credentials mean anything in the Web 2.0 world and how the Web 2.0 world is putting pressure on institutions to change the way they think about credentials.  We also discuss the connections that can be formed via technology and the permanence of the “local”.  We basically try to solve all the world’s problems in one hour.  This is Gerald Graff article we refer to in Inside Higher Ed.
